This smart case is nearly perfect. All the ports are accessible and the build quality is pretty good and it doesn't add much bulk as i can still fit it inside this universal case fir 7" Tablets. My only complaint is the Power and volume rockers are awkward to actually use. Opposed to a tradition style of those controls being overlaid by some sort of rubber or silicon because the case add's bu;l, there is just an indent on where those ports are. I personally would like to have those button covered like they do on otterbox cases, but its not really something that i would knock a star off since they're still accessible and you won't really be hitting the power button since its a smart case or adjusting the volume too often [unless using headphones]. All-in-all, a very good buy for that price.

BalasHapusI ordered this case on Sep 16th and it said out of stock until Sep 30 which I was fine with, but it arrived Sep 20th. You have got to love a company that listens to its customers and has already made changes to the product twice in just a few months. I never dealt with the first or second batch, but I have read all the reviews and can say that the third batch has none of those flaws, in my eyes it is perfect. And from what I have heard the company is taking care of those that bought the first two batches by giving them this third one free.
All I wanted from the day the nexus 7 came out was a case that actually protects, but is as THIN as possible, since that is what I like most about the nexus. This case is perfect for me, I love how the screen sits flush with the case when you open the lid so it doesn't cover any of the screen or bezel. I have a couple other tablets and cases and hate when the leather of the case makes it hard to swipe down the notification bar or move icons to different screens. The stand feature works as advertised although I find that I never use stands for my 7 inch tablets, more important for the touchpad or ipad. I also love how strong the magnets close the case compared to a few other cases I have with the same feature. I have not noticed the magnets causing the screen to turn off when the lid is folded all the way back so I think they fixed that problem. Also, I had read a couple complaints about it being difficult to access the power and volume buttons, I'm not sure if they changed that but I don't find it hard at all.
Bottom Line- If you want a slim case- BUY THIS ONE, they have fixed the former flaws and it is an awesome case.
I was actually playing with my new case on my Nexus 7 on the day it was delivered, and enjoying it tremendously, when I received an email from Poetic, saying essentially "we don't like the way the case works. Please keep it and we'll send you another one free of charge when we get it right." I was astounded. NOBODY sends unsolicited replacements!! It's ALWAYS caveat emptor - buyer beware - so I figured sure... I'll get another one.. well, I DID! It came yesterday with a note to keep the old one as a spare. It completely solved the issues with the previous case. I love it - but mostly I love the fact that this is a reputable company that wants to establish itself with a good reputation. Good on you!! and a great product too!
BalasHapusSlim but very reassuring case which covers all the right places whilst leaving ports accessible. Can't recommend more highly. I'd definitely recommend getting a cool colour though!
BalasHapusThis case was exactly what I was looking for...something slim that does not bulk up my tablet but provides coverage for the screen and sides of the tablet. The magnetic shut up feature is really handy.
BalasHapusI tried other covers, but this one won me over. It's slim and lightweight, unlike some others that call themselves slim, and they have magnets in the cover that keep them closed and turn off the Nexus 7, using the functionality Google put in the tablet. Open the cover and the tablet comes to life. Controls are easy to use even with the cover on.

BalasHapusThe case works perfectly for the nexus 7 and takes full advantage of the smart cover feature. Tired of looking at those leather folio cases that don't really fit to the device or are too bulky. This is an awesome case, works flawlessly and doesn't look like you are carrying around a Day Planner from the 80's.
BalasHapusI read some mixed reviews on this before purchasing it. However, the most recent reviewer noted that the company had made some changes in the product. It appears they have. I haven't had any difficulties with the magnet being too strong. It works well and feels great. When comparing it side-by-side to my husband's iPad cover, which is quite similar in design (apart from being two separate front and back pieces), I can tell that it is not quite as high quality. However, his cost significantly more (at least $50 I believe). Well worth the cheaper price. I love that it maintains the slim feel of the tablet.
